Both arcs feature an array of monsters that are under the control of the Utukki and the Anunnaki and serve them as their underlings or personal "soldiers" of evil. All are summoned from the Underworld and follow their respective summoner. These monsters (or youma) are considered the "monsters-of-the-day" for this game.
